After Valentine’s Day and More New Jewelry
First off, I have to say that I’m incredibly humbled by the response to the Kaj bracelet — especially the one packaged in our Valentine’s packaging. A huge thank you to all my friends for putting up with my disbelief and sales reports — and most of all, thank you to my friend Brianna Altneu of Twisted & Bent. “AWAKEN” CHOKER OR SILVER CHAIN NECKLACE
I did do quite a bit of back research on this tri-crescent pendant, and found that nearly every major belief system has some sort of meaning associated with it. To me, it represented a growing awareness and balance in my life. I really LOVE this piece. I love the way the texture just curves around with it, the light shimmering, not a straight reflection. The choker looks so good against the skin, it just makes me feel so good wearing it. I’ve made it for men in a choker, and two versions for women: in a choker and in a silver chain, in a V that goes deeper down the chest. All are available on SL Exchange (now www.XStreetSL.com).
THE DOG TAGS
This week I released 22– yes you read that right — 22dog tag necklaces. 12 for men, 10 for women. Intended to be unisex, because of the avatar chest/neck shapes, I had to do separate neck chains for them, one for men, and one for women. The result, however, is STUNNING. Just take in the details, look how it hangs from the neck, the shadowing on the back tag, the quality of the silver texture, nothing streaky about this piece!

They are sculpted symbols inlaid onto a embossed leather that is also inlaid into the silver tag. The back tag is solid silver. Totally three-dimensional and beautiful!
Most of them are Chinese symbols, some of them are more universally recognized. The necklaces made are: Faith, Fleur De Lis, Friendship, Happiness, <3, Love, Luck, Master, Peace, Strength, Tiger and Yin Yang.
I hope you all enjoy them! They’re a fun casual accessory to have. I’m still researching ideas for a watch for men, and my brain is swimming with really great bejeweled pieces. I’m looking forward to getting back to more individualized pieces to create! Until next them, folks — stay well!
